Weft helps you stay close to the people who matter. If something isn't working or you have a question, get in touch — a real person reads every message.
Tap the + button on the People tab. You can add someone manually, or import them from your device's Contacts — the contact picker is searchable, so just start typing a name. Your contacts are read on your device and never uploaded anywhere.
Each person has their own check-in rhythm, set in days — anywhere from 1 to 365. Weft counts the days since you last logged a catch-up with that person, and when the interval passes, they appear on your Today screen and you get a gentle notification. You can set a preferred time of day per person, and snooze anyone if now isn't the moment.
Open the person, tap to edit, and change the "How often" value. There are no fixed presets — enter whatever number of days actually fits that relationship.
Tap the check button next to someone on the Today screen for a one-tap log. To record more detail — the type of contact and a note about what you talked about — swipe left on their row, or open their profile and log it there. Every catch-up is saved to their history so you can remember what's going on in their life.
Weft is free for up to 8 people. Weft Plus removes that limit entirely and supports an independent developer. It's available as a yearly or monthly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase — your choice.
If you reinstall Weft or set up a new device, open the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so it will come back. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to Settings in Weft and tap Manage Subscription, or on your device open Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Everything you write in Weft stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. We can't see it. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no analytics. Read the full privacy policy.
You can delete any person or note at any time inside the app. Note that deleting the app does not remove data already synced to iCloud — to clear that too, delete your data in the app first, or manage Weft's iCloud storage under Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
If you keep sensitive notes, turn on Require Face ID / Touch ID in Settings. Weft will then ask you to verify when you open the app or return to it from the background.
Bug reports, feature requests, and general feedback are all welcome — email weftapp.support@gmail.com and tell us what happened. Screenshots help.
